We are telling the “Why” stories behind high-performance Homes and Buildings across Colorado and your help makes it possible!

Heart of a Building is using video to tell the “why” stories of visionaries who are designing, financing, constructing, and occupying the buildings of tomorrow, today. Our stories showcase the technology, rationale, and strategies behind the growing industry of sustainability and introduce you to people who are creating sustainable, energy-efficient buildings that perform beyond existing practices and codes.

Our vision is to educate experts and non-experts alike and to inspire commercial and residential green buildings across the country and throughout the world. You can view our first hour-long episode via Rocky Mountain PBS’s streaming service, RMPBS – Heart of a Building, or via our home page (scroll down to see) and click on WATCH THE EPISODE.

This episode had its first two airings on Rocky Mountain PBS (Channel 6) twice during Earth Day week; on Saturday 4/24/2021 at 3:30 pm with a repeat on Sunday 4/25/2021 at 10:00 am. RMPBS re-aired this episode on Sunday, July 11 at 10:00 am and will be airing it again as a “kick off” the week before the new
episodes, below, begin airing.

We’ve just completed, and sent to RMPBS for their editorial review, three additional stories which will be
airing / streaming in late October / early November 2021:

L’Avenir project: L’Avenir‘s net-zero energy row homes

Nantes Library: Nantes Library’s near Passive house performance

Thrive’s Vitality Collection: Thrive community builders net zero energy home

To produce a 30-minute episode showcasing amazing projects such as these takes resources; outstanding videographers, directors, editors, graphic artist and social media specialists. And to have these outstanding people on the Heart of a Building team, creating these inspiring episodes takes sponsorship and donations from companies and people like you. To be specific, it takes approximately $25,000 to have a story turned into a Heart of a Building episode.

So, are you ready to join our movement? We have sponsorship levels starting at $1,000 going all the way up to $150,000. We also have a Go Fund Me campaign where individuals can make donations from $25 up to $999
