Energy Efficiency Strategies for High-Performing Buildings
Heart of a Building’s technical videos showcases the technical expertise behind energy-efficient buildings that are built to outperform existing codes. These videos are intended for professionals seeking to be inspired and informed about the state-of-the-art strategies for creating the buildings of tomorrow, today.
Our technical videos will share floor plans, engineering specifications, overall construction specifications, and the costs of construction to make it easier for the projects featured in our documentary to be replicated.
With our continuing education credits program, we are reaching out to the next generation of architects and builders who want to learn the technical tools necessary to build for the future.
The first technical video, “Energy efficiency strategies for high performing buildings,” showcases energy-efficient building envelope systems, R-values, U-values, types of heat transfer, insulation, and ground-source heat pump systems. You will see how each of these separate components that work together when the building operates as a system. We share three buildings that illustrate the implementation of these components.
Let us inspire you with our heart-centered reasons for building with the earth and energy-efficiency in mind.
